Spiritual Healing... is the spiritual pathway to health & wellness.
Spiritual healing is imparted by healing prayer, by a spoken word, by the laying on of hands, and by filling the person’s heart with the faith-building instruction - spiritual life coaching & counseling - because a happy heart is open to receiving spiritual healing.
Healing Prayer
Healing prayer can take on some or all of these formulas, and basically it is a way to connect to, and release within you, the Spirit that can do far more than you ever dare ask or even dream of - infinitely beyond your highest prayers, desires, thoughts or hopes. It is there that the natural and the supernatural meet.
I and others in healing ministries have found that physical healing can happen instantly, right before our eyes, or it can gradually take place over time. Healing of emotional issues from the past tend to take more time, and what we call “soaking prayer”, healing prayer over several days or weeks, is required as the various layers of hurt are peeled away and healed. Generational healing prayer is used to heal aspects of the family tree that tend to pass from generation to generation.
There is no one guide on how healing prayer should be done. Each person to whom the Spirit has gifted with a special gift of healing will tend to discern how to pray as we pray and talk with the individual at hand.
Multitudes of books have been written about faith healing, spiritual healing, divine healing, healing prayer, healing ministry (and other similar expressions). And genuine testimonies abound of God’s power to heal sick and infirm bodies.
The following is part of the testimony of Tina from Florida for whom I recently prayed for healing:
"(...) I was a wreck, as I have basically been the past 12 months, stressed and weary. I developed a friendship with Paul Pritchard and his family. (...) He told me a little about his ministry. He said he was gifted with spiritual and physical healing. Well, of course, I was skeptical. Whenever I hear Healing, it makes me think of some of the eccentric evangelists seen on TV. Anyway, I began to tell Paul about the issues I was dealing with. We planned to talk and pray. He happened to be in my area on a Tuesday. Paul stopped by and we discussed some of the trials I have gone through, the current issue at hand, and some background information concerning myself - Paul is a Spiritual Counselor and Life Coach as well. We decided that he would pray over me. As he prayed, I felt the Holy Spirit moving within me and ridding many of the mental habits and restraints that were hindering me from living a content and fulfilled life. I felt some resistance at times and Paul could tell. So he stopped praying and we discussed what could be causing me to resist. The Holy Spirit convicted me of Control. I did not realize how I relied on myself to control situations, especially with my kids, to try and stop them from making decisions that were wrong and could hurt them. I realized I needed to give up my control and give it over to God. Paul began praying again, I resisted at first, but then I let go. I had an unexplainable peace come over me. I knew I had given it to God.
At this point, I became a believer in the gift of spiritual healing that God has given to Paul.
Another example of healing took place the following week. (...) I woke up (one morning) with severe pain and a protrusion on my left side. I had developed a hernia ... I knew hernias could only be fixed by surgery, and I did not have time in my life for a surgery, nor did I feel like I could handle this due to the physical condition I was in from all of the previous stress. I called Paul and told him that I needed him to pray for me. I didn’t care how or where, just that I needed this taken care of. He called me and prayed over the phone. I kept my hand on the hernia as he prayed. When he finished, I lay on my bed and just let the Spirit do His job. The pain did not subside immediately. I felt the urge to walk on the beach. As I was getting ready, the pain was slowly subsiding. By the time I got to the beach, the pain and the protrusion were gone! I was giddy all day and able to walk, skip, and have a great time."

Is everyone healed when I pray with and lay hands on them?
I am convinced on some level they are, be it spiritual, emotional or physical. Sometimes healings are not so evident. Other times I am convinced that more prayer and discernment is required to understand if there is some issue or block that must be dealt with first before a healing can occur.
Take the case of Pat from Virginia for example. He was so skeptical about all this healing prayer stuff, yet decided to give it a try. His testimony is – "I wasn't too sure about this healing stuff, but then again I had seen how my wife had been healed from a kidney infection and the pain, so I asked Paul to pray for my injured knee. I was in so much pain I could hardly walk. He prayed, and I was still doubtful. The pain subsided for a while, but later came back. While laying in bed the next morning, I decided to turn to God and say - I'm not to sure about this healing stuff, but I chose to believe that you can heal me. -In that instant the pain went away."
And of course there are times that nothing visibly happens. That doesn’t mean nothing has happened, yet only God knows what, when and why.
